Bob

The oldest member of our group. At one time it looked as though the ravages of time, in the form of increasingly dodgy knees, would limit his walking. However he has been reinvigorated by a combination of walking poles, knee supports and fish oil capsules. I discovered that he also suffers from a fear of heights whilst we were on a particularly perpendicular bit of Tryfan. His third area of affliction is verbosity as is shown in the following passage;

                Bob: I haven’t much to say on this subject

        All: But that won’t stop you saying it at great length

Still he’s really good value for his company, something which I really valued in a tricky descent from Glaramara under cloud. See the photo; our route was mainly by the side of the right-hand gully.

CU Personality: he used to be an A but he has become slightly contaminated by the company of Cs.
