I cannot omit my wife. She doesn't come on the big walks with the chaps but she is no wimp on the hills. We have had holidays in Austria and Slovenia (twice) where she climbed Svinjak, the Slovene Matterhorn. You can see from my walking diary that we've just added Majorca and the Canadian Rockies to the list.

Hates rain, cold and being given walking equipment for Christmas and birthdays. She has almost forgiven me for taking her on seriously un-Beryl walks on Moel y Cerrig Duon and to Waun Fach (aka the worst hill in Wales).
