Starting to rise; looking at the sea front at Benidorm with the Puig Campana under cloud, seemingly just behind The first hill of the ridge; Sierra Dorado Looking back to the cross; it is tacky, covered in grafitti and lights up at night!! The way to the relay station (on the far pointy top) and Altea Bay. What doesn't come over on this shot is the amount of up and down as the path crosses a series of gulleys. The way we had come with Benidorm Island just visible at the end. The cliffs are nearly 1000 foot high and contrast with the rounded slopes on the landward side The relay station comes into view Descending to Albir with Altea and its bay beyond On the following day we took the boat from Benidorm to Calpe and the far end of Altea Bay.
